Optical properties and conductivity mechanism of YBa2Cu3O7-δ single crystals
The reflection and absorption spectra of YBa2Cu307 _ δ single crystals have been studied. A maximum has been observed at —0.3 eV against the background Drude dependence of the optical-frequency conductivity σ(ω). The results are interpreted under the assumption that the light interacts with free and localized charge carriers.
