Thermal emf of YBa2Cu3O7-δ single crystals
The differential thermal emf 5of YBa2Cu307 _ δ single crystals in the (ab) plane has been measured over the temperature range 400-90 K. The sign of S corresponds to a positive charge of the current carriers. The temperature dependence of this emf below ~ 300 К is anomalous and similar to the temperature dependence of the Hall voltage.
