The motion of an electron in a 3D icosahedral quasicrystal is analyzed in the weak-coupling approximation. Even an ideal quasicrystal has a finite conductivity. The mean free time is estimated to be r~ VQ1exp((V0/EF)~1/4), where F0is the effective atomic potential.
