Experimental observation of the linear polarization of parametric x-ray emission
It has been established experimentally for the first time that parametric χ radiation is highly linearly polarized. The position of the plane of the maximum linear polarization is found to depend on the azimuthal angle of the photon emission relative to the Bragg direction.
