Energy gap in YBa2Cu3O7-x single crystals with various oxygen concentrations

A tunneling electron microscope has been used to study the relationship between the magnitude of the energy gap Δ and the superconducting transition temperature of YBa2Cu307_x single crystals with various oxygen concentrations. The distribution of the gap along the surface of the crystal was also studied. The results of the study are approximated by the linear dependence 2Aav = 4.4 kTc.
