IR reflection and Raman spectra of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O superconducting compounds
The IR reflection and Raman spectra of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O ceramic and single-crystal high-temperature superconductors have been measured. The polarizations of the vibrations corresponding to 460 to 630 cm -1 have been determined. The frequencies of plasma vibrations are estimated. The width of the superconducting gap is also estimated: 2Δ = 250 cm-1.
