Temperature-independent spin-lattice relaxation of Cu(2) nuclei in the normal state of YBa2Cu3O7-δ single crystals
The spin-lattice relaxation rate Τ f1 of Cu(2) nuclei has been measured in an YBa2Cu307 _ £ single crystal over the temperature range 100-300 К for two directions of the magnetic field with respect to the crystallographic с axis: H||c and Hlc. The independence of Τ f1 from the temperature, unusual for a metal, is discussed. The maximum near 210 К in the Hlc case and the anisotropy of the relaxation are also discussed.
