Density of quasicrystals
The density of atoms in an ordered icosahedral quasicrystal is related to the diffraction wave vector Qwoooo: η = a(A{ + A2r)Q jooooo? where Λ, and Λ2 are integers, and r is the golden section. In particular, for the stable quasicrystal А15Л CuLi3 the numbers (Λ„Λ2) аге 0-Л) for Li and (4,2) for Al(Cu).
