Change in the sign of the Hall effect in a superconducting transition in Bi2CaSr2Cu2Ox single crystals

It is shown that the Hall voltage VH in superconducting single crystals of Bi2CaSr2Cu2Ox in the resistive state in a magnetic field is characterized by a thermally activated dependence and that its sign is opposite to that in the normal state. The results are explained in terms of the vortex motion.
