Magnetization wave induced by second-sound wave in bismuth
When a thermal pulse is pased through a bismuth sample in a longitudinal magnetic field Η у at liquid-helium temperature, a diamagnetic wave arises. This effect is attributed to a spatially nonuniform perturbation of a magnetized electron-hole plasma in the bismuth.
