Search for doubly charged anomalons in p3He interactions at a 3He-nucleus momentum of 5 GeV/c
Experimental data were obtained with the help of the 80-cm liquid-hydrogen bubble chamber of the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics. The chamber was exposed to a separated beam of 3He nuclei with a momentum of 5 GeV/c. The statistical base of this study yields no indication of the existence of doubly charged anomalons in У He interactions at a proton kinetic energy Γρίη ~ 1 GeV. How one extremely likely methodological error could result in a simulation of anomalously short mean free paths is demonstrated.
