Formation of front of antiferromagnet (weak ferromagnet) transition in DyFeO3 in field at which antiferromagnetic phase loses stability
The formation of a transition front has been observed in the transition from the antiferromagnetic state to the weak ferromagnetic state in a field at which the antiferromagnetic phase loses stability in DyFe03. This front moves at a velocity far higher than that of the boundaries between phases. The instability line of the antiferromagnetic state on the //~!T phase diagram of DyFe03 has been determined.
