Structural resonances in amorphous CdGeAs2-Fe alloys
Okunev V.D., Samoilenko Z. A.
The behavior of Fe is glassy CdGeAs2 has been studied. A new effect, consisting of "structural resonances," has been observed. These resonances are abrupt, nonmonotonic changes in the structure and physical properties of amorphous alloys, including huge changes (by a factor of 1.5-2) in the density of the substance at critical values of the Fe concentration.
