The temperature dependence of the first critical field, Hcl (Τ), has been measured in YBa2 Cu3 Ox single crystals by an Μ\n 0 extrapolation method (Mt is the trapped magnetization). These measurements were carried out in the orientations HI ó and Η11 c. The anisotropy of Hcl increases sharply, from Η \\ (0) /î Lc\ (0) -4.1 í#ê(0) =270 ïÅ)/[ñ^(0) = 21 Oe] = 10, as the oxygen content decreases from χ = 6.9 to χ = 6.64.
