New possibilities for studying the phonon spectra of crystals with the perovskite structure
A study of the anisotropy of the temperature dependence of the sound velocity cn in the basal plane of crystals of tetragonal symmetry makes possible an unambiguous determination of the energy and nature of the optical phonon mode (soft mode) which is interacting with the sound.
