Measurement of the cross sections for the interaction of fission antineutrinos with deuterons at the Rovno atomic power plant

New experimental results have been obtained on the interaction of fission-reactor antineutrinos with deuterons in the neutral-current channel (NC) and the charged-current channel (CC). The measured cross sections are <rNC = (2.71 + 0.46 ± 0.11) X 10" 44 cmVfission and acc = (1.17 + 0.14 + 0.07) χ 10 ~ ^cmVfission, where the errors specified are respectively statistical and systematic. These results agree with the predictions of the standard model of electroweak interactions.
