Comments on a gapless high-Tc superconductivity
Pashitskii E. A., Pashitskii A. E., Semenov A. V.
The zero-bias conductance peaks observed on the tunneling current-voltage characteristics of highTc superconductors may stem from the onset of a gapless region and a strong gap dispersion near the Fermi surface. These effects would in turn stem from an inelastic relaxation of quasiparticles due to phonons or low-frequency collective excitations of the charge density (acoustic plasmons).
