Photoinduced polarization-dependent changes in the anisotropy in ferrimagnetic (YCa)3(FeCoGe)5O12 films

A photoinduced increase of 1-2 G in the perpendicular component of the magnetization has been observed in a ferrimagnetic (YCa)3(FeCoGe)5012 film. The light pulses had Я = 0.53 μτη and t=20 ns. The corresponding change in the anisotropy energy is 104 erg/cm3.
