Ellipsometric measurement of the superconducting transition in a YBa2Cu3O7-δ ab-oriented film at a wavelength of 119 μ m
The first measurements of the temperature dependence of the complex dielectric function ab{coQlT) for an a£-oriented (with the с axis perpendicular to the film) YBa2Cu307_5 film on a single-crystal SrTi03 substrate are presented. The measurements were obtained using far-infrared ellipsometry. The temperature behavior of eab(o)QtT) qualitatively conforms to that predicted by the model of the strong electron-phonon coupling. No peaks below Tc were observed at the frequency which was used.
