Anomalous magnetic-field dependence of neutron depolarization near Tc in ceramic YBa2Cu3O7-δ
The depolarization of neutrons as they pass through the yttrium ceramic YBa2Cu307_(j has been studied at temperature s near Tc in external fields up to 10 kOe. There is an interval of magnetic fields in which the polarization exhibits an irregular behavior not seen previously. Spectral changes in the transmitted beam indicate that dynamic processes arise in the vortex lattice in the region of irregular behavior.© 1995 American Institute of Physics.
