Quantization of the conductance of metal nanocontacts at room temperature
The differential conductance of metal nanocontacts at room temperature exhibits properties of a ballistic quantum transport in ID systems. The quantum of conductance of nanocontacts based on a tungsten tip 1 nm in diameter is e2/h, not 2e2/h. © 1995 American Institute of Physics.
