Experimental observation of stimulation of superconductivity in niobium thin films
A stimulation of superconductivity has been observed experimentally in niobium thin films constituting the interlayer in double-barrier Nb/Nb'/Nb superconductor structures. An explanation is offered for the experimental data on the basis of a model in which the time scale for inelastic relaxation of quasiparticles depends on the energy at energies near the gap. © 7995 American Institute of Physics.
