Possible coexistence of localized and itinerant states in connection with anomalies in the kinetic properties of high-resistivity alloys
A polaron mechanism which leads to the existence of two groups of quasiautonomous electron states near the Fermi level in alloys with a special structural state (they contain disperse inclusions) is proposed. A qualitative explanation is offered for the unusual temperature dependence observed for the conductivity in titanium alloys, У,_^А1Л, and other high-resistivity alloys. Anomalies in the concentration dependence of kinetic properties due to percolation in the system of disperse inclusions are discussed. © 1995 American Institute of Physics.
