Effect of ion irradiation on the properties of high-temperature oxide superconductors
YBa2Cu307 „ y films fabricated by laser sputtering were irradiated by 6.7-MeV He+ + ions. The superconducting and structural characteristics of the films were found to change as a result of irradiation. These films are much more sensitive to irradiation than the Nb3Sn films.
