New type of self-localization state of carriers in an antiferromagnetic semiconductor
A self-localization of charge carriers can occur in antiferromagnetic semiconductors with high Neel temperatures in which different antiferromagnetic structures have approximately equal energies. This localization occurs in a microscopic region with a skewed antiferromagnetic order of a type different from that of the rest of the crystal.
