Factors responsible for the difference in the theoretical and experimental results for the probability of nuclear excitation by electron transition
Contradictory experimental results for the probability of the formation of a long-lived 189m Os isomer in the study of nuclear excitation by electron transition are explained. The importance of this process in the study of the anomalies associated with the dynamic penetration of the electron current into the nucleus is shown.
