s pairing as a result of antiferromagnetic fluctuations in a high-Tc superconductor
Carrier scattering due to an exchange of antiferromagnetic fluctuations leads to an s pairing if the antiferromagnetic momentum satisfies k0>2pF. The qua-sicritical nature of the fluctuations gives the effective superconducting coupling constant a value Λ~ 1.
