Transition from a dipole behavior to an "Ising" behavior in the uniaxial ferroelectric TSCC
Logarithmic corrections and a jump in the sound velocity along the polar axis have been observed in the uniaxial ferroelectric TSCC. This unusual behavior is attributed to an anomalously weak macroscopic dipole interaction, which is important only in a small, asymmetric neighborhood of Tc.
