Parametric excitation of phonons in antiferromagnetic FeBO3
Phonons with a frequency of 17.7 GHz have been excited parametrically by microwave pumping in the easy-plane antiferromagnet FeB03. The phonon relaxation frequency calculated from the excitation threshold increases with increasing static field.
