Anomalous temperature and dielectric hysteresis accompanying an incommensurate-commensurate phase transition of the polar phase in (NH4)2BeF4 (ABF)crystals
It is shown that in the vicinity of a commensurate-incommensurate phase transition the dielectric constant of the crystal (NH4)2BeF4 is not single-valued and is different along the cooling and heating curves. In a narrow temperature range near the phase transition, the polarization of the crystal has a double-step nature with an increase in the electric field.
