Quantum diffusion and recombination of atoms in a crystal at low temperatures
The recombination kinetics of atoms in a crystal, when quantum sub-barrier diffusion is the limiting factor, is examined. The experimental results4 on recombination of atomic hydrogen in a molecular hydrogen matrix are analyzed.
