Measurement of the surface-tension anisotropy of a nematic liquid crystal
The surface tension anisotropy factor of the nematic liquid crystal MBBA σα is determined experimentally. The magnitude of σα, which is measured for the first time, is σα ~ 10-5 erg/cm2.
