Quantum oscillations of the thermoelectromotive force of osmium in strong magnetic fields
The anisotropy and field dependence of the thermoelectromotive force of very pure osmium single crystals with p211 к4 2 K 2000 were measured at a temperature of 4.2 К and in magnetic fields up to 90 kOe. Above 40 kOe, quantum oscillations of the thermoelectromotive force analogous to the Shubnikov-de Haas effect, which have not been observed earlier in transition metals, were detected.
