Electromagnetic emission by a system of nonequilibrium quasiphones in an antiferromagnet
Electromagnetic emission has been observed from a system of excited quasiphonons in FeB03 after a monochromatic microwave pump pulse has ended. The frequency of the emission differs from that of the exciting field. The intensity of the emission has a nonmonotonic time evolution. A theoretical model which explains the experimental data is constructed. © 1994 American Institute of Physics.
