Determining the rate of poloidal rotation of plasma in the FT-1 tokamak
The poloidal rotation rate of plasma in the FT-1 device is determined with use of carbon macroparticles injected into the takamak before the onset of discharge. Its value of —5 Χ 105 cm/sec is close to the diamagnetic drift velocity of electrons.
