Kinetics of accumulation and excitation of F2+ centers in LiF(F2) crystals

In this paper we propose a mechanism for the accumulation of F2+ color centers and their excitation in a LiF crystal with stable, neutral F2 centers. The practical realization of this made it possible to build tunable lasers (ДЕ = 0.84—1.1 μηϊ) operating at room temperature with a high efficiency and a high pulse repetition rate.
