Magnetodipole resonant absorption in electron-hole drops (EHD) was experimentally observed for the first time in germanium at submillimeter wavelengths (λ = 0.6—1.35 mm). A study of the observed phenomenon led to a direct measurement of the effective masses of the electrons in the EHD. The dimensions of the drops and the change of their shape in a magnetic field are determined.
