Surface polaritons due to allowance for spatial dispersion

Attention is called to a new class of surface electromagnetic waves, the very existence of which is due to allowance for spatial dispersion. The dispersion law of such surface solutions is obtained for the contact region of the "right" and "left" modifications of crystals of symmetry C2v and D2d.
