Effective moments of inertia of maximally deformed nuclei
We measured the angular fission anisotropy of the group of nuclei from 170Yb to 212At by 3He ions with energy from 20 to 60 MeV. Experimental data on the asymptotic value of the effective moment of inertia of fissioning nuclei in the region Ζ 2/A S 35 have been obtained for the first time.
