Self-suppression of exciton-exciton annihilation in a dense system of molecular excitons
A sharp decrease in the efficiency of triplet-triplet annihilation has been observed in crystals of benzophenone (С,3H,0O) at exciton densities of 1018-1020 cm ~3 near 4.2 K. This decrease is attributed to a suppression of exciton migration by an exciton-exciton interaction.
