Investigation of the cross section of the (π-, p) process as a function of the atomic number of the nucleus at an energy 1 GeV

We observed that when the experimental cross sections are described a relation of the type <i>oz </i><i>A</i>" the exponent <i>η </i>for light nuclei (from Li to Cu) is approximately double the value of <i>η </i>for heavy nuclei (from Cu to Bi).")
