Observation of a decay (fission) of relativistic 24Mg and 28Si nuclei into two fragments of approximately equal charge
The decays of relativistic nuclei Mg -► Β + N and Si -> С + О, resulting from inelastic peripheral interactions, have been observed in a nuclear emulsion.
