We investigated the electric conductivity of conducting layers produced at the boundary of germanium bicrystals, as a function of the grain disorientation angle 7<0<3O°. A transition from metallic conduction to activation conduction is observed at 6S\0°. It is established that the transition corresponds to o~min~4xl0-5 Ω~\ in agreement with the theoretical estimate a^eV/i for a two-dimensional system.
