The use of inelastic neutron-scattering method has revealed that hydrogen in a metastable superconducting e phase of TiH0 7 { occupies principally the octahedral (O) interstitial positions in the metal lattice. In the δ phase of this hydride the hydrogen is found in the tetrahedral (T) positions.
