Critical magnetic fields of amorphous As2Te3 near the insulator-metal transition
The fields Hc2 and the currents Jc have been measured near a pressure-induced insulator-metal transition in amorphous As2Te3. A superconductivity appears at a pressure P—70 kbar; the value of Tc increases as the pressure is raised. The large values of (dHc2/dT) Tc ~ 10 kOe/K at low values of Jc indicate that the superconductivity is of a percolation nature.
