Far-IR emission in narrow-gap semiconductors in the magnetoplasma transparency window
Emission in the far-IR range, with wavelengths up to 49.1 μηι, in the magnetoplasma transparency window of the semiconductor, has been achieved in (PbSe) t _ x (SnTe)x -PbSe0.32TeQ.68 (*<0.2) laser heterostructures in a magnetic field.
