Thermal expansion as the cause of the temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of metals
Thermal expansion has an important effect on the temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of a metal, χ( Τ). Experimental data are compared with the theoretical behaviorχ(Τ) for the paramagnetic metals Pt, Ph, Mo, and Ir.
