Jumps between metastable states of the quasi-1D conductor TaS3 with submicron transverse dimensions
Experiments on small samples of the quasi-ID conductor TaS3 reveal that the resistance is a discontinuous function of the temperature and the electric field. The results are explained in terms of an abrupt change in the deformation of a space-charge wave.
