Observation of anomalous Zeeman effect in the F2(2) line of methane
The first observation of anomalous Zeeman effect in the components of the magnetic hyperfine structure (MHFS) of the F^2) line of methane (λ=3.39 μηι), asymmetry of nonlinear resonance in a magnetic field due to the recoil effect, and measurement of the shifts of the individual components of MHFS in weak magnetic fields are reported.
