Muon-spin relaxation in para-hydrogen

The decay of the spin precession of positive muons has been studied in liquid and solid para-hydrogen containing fewer than 2% ortho-molecules. The precession decay rate in solid hydrogen has a maximum as a function of the temperature at Γ=4Κ.
